Who Are We?

We are a community driven, photography loving, people loving, deviant helping kind of club and we are here to get YOU noticed We want to see the world through your eyes! *Shutter-Vision is all about having fun, making friends and showcasing your work. We want to be the best club we can be.


How To Join:

Joining our club is simple.

Just add us to your deviantwatch list to join.
Then, add our stamp or our icon to your journal footer.

You will receive a comment on your page when you have been added to the Member's List!!!
And if you like, mention us in your signature!

As soon as you do this you may begin submitting!



Submission Rules:

We accept photos from all of the photography subcategories but, they must be under the main photography category, but we DO NOT accept deviantIDs, or anything that has been placed into scraps.

*Shutter-Vision is here to give people a glimpse of your work....So remember you want to submit pictures that will peak a persons interest and draw them into your gallery to look at your other artwork. A snapshot will not have the same effect as something artistic. So send us your best.

We DO accept nudity IF it is respectable**. If you are offended by this then don't join.

We only allow one submission per week. (Saturday to Saturday) If you send in more than one per week the extras will be deleted. Please submit the link to the deviation.



Submission How To:

Please follow them exactly. If you don't it makes things more difficult for the admins.

To submit a deviation you must be a member. After you've become a member read the submission rules above FIRST.

Send a note with the subject line "Submit" and a link to the small version** of the deviation in the note (just copy and paste the url.) Remember only one deviation at a time per week the only exception to this rule is for contest entries.


Your submission will be added as quickly as possible.

FAQ:

** Q: Do you accept nudity?
A: Yes, as long as it is respectable. We prefer not to submit full nudity where you can actually see everything. We do not want to offend any of our members. Not everyone is comfortable veiwing these types of photos.

** Q: Why the small submission size?:
A: We have had different opinions come in about this topic. One person says they want their larger photo uploaded so it will be of a good quality. While the other says they think we should do the smaller ones so people will be more likley to go to the artist page and give them the pagehits. I have talked to the submissions admin and we both think that we will be using the smaller photos from here on out. If you do not like the quality of your photo in our gallery we apologize but we are trying to get YOU noticed, trying to get people to go to YOUR page. We beleive this is how to do it, if they see a photo that looks interesting and they can't see it well they will click on your link to view it better.

Q: Do you accept photomanipulation?
A: We do not accept them, sorry. If you try to submit one you will be notified that it was not submitted.

Q: Do my submissions have to be recent?
A: Submissions need to be no older the a few months. If you have one that you really like and want to show that isn't more then a few months old then you may submit it. However, contest entries must be new!

Q: Why do I have to go to the original artwork to a pic?
A: As is the rule with all Clubs you may not artwork from the club as this is a DA policy violation see FAQ #216: Are there any rules for accounts being used as clubs or 'group' accounts? Plus, it is the artist themselves that deserve the recognition that you like their artwork not us.

Q: I ed a pic in the clubs gallery how do I remove it?
A: Simple just click on the icon " Add to Favourites" and it will remove the

Q: I tried to add your stamp to my journal footer but it isn't working, am I doing something wrong?
A: If you do not have a paid account the stamp will not work, and there will be no "journal footer" to add it to, but you can still add out icon to your journal by typing : iconshutter-vision: (without the spaces) or you can link us in your signature by typing : devshutter-vision : (again without the spaces)
