You will receive a comment on your page when you have been added to the Member's List.

As soon as this has been done, you may begin submitting.

We accept photos from all photography subcategories but, they
must be under the main photography category.

We
DO NOT accept Manipulations, Textures, DeviantIDs, or anything that has been placed into Scraps.

Horror, gore, and hate art will
NOT be accepted, as the administrator is a big girl's blouse.

Your deviation must be at least 24 hours old (sitting in your gallery for one day).

*
Shutter-Vision is here to give people a glimpse of your work... So remember you want to submit pictures that will peak a persons interest, and draw them into your gallery to look at your other artwork. A snapshot will not have the same effect as something artistic. So send us your best.

Your deviation must be at least 24hrs old.

We
DO accept nudity
IF it is respectable. If you are offended by this then don't join.

We allow
ONE submission per week (Sunday to Saturday). If you send in more than one per week, they will be deleted.
Please follow these guidelines. If you don't, it makes things difficult for the admin.

To submit a deviation you must first be a
member. After you've become a member read the submission rules above
FIRST.

Send a note with the subject line "Submission" and a link or thumb to your deviation in the note (just copy/paste the url or thumb). Remember, only
one deviation per week. The only exception to this rule is for contest entries.

Your submission will be collected into "
This Week's Submissions" folder, as well as the corresponding month's collection folder.
Do not thank us for adding it because this is your submission to the club. A screen shot of submissions will be added to the gallery, and links will be provided to each deviation.

0-kelley-0Q: Do you accept nudity?
A: Yes, as long as it is respectable. We prefer not to submit full nudity where you can actually see everything. We do not want to offend any of our members. Not everyone is comfortable viewing these types of photos.
Q: Do you accept photo manipulation or textures?
A: We DO NOT accept them, sorry. If you try to submit one you will be notified that it was not submitted.
Q: Do you accept HDR photos?
A: We do, but only if doesn't look too overworked. Some HDR work takes the natural colour and reality away from the photo... keep it real!
Q: Do my submissions have to be recent?
A: Submissions need to be no older the a few months. If you have one that you really like and want to show that is more than a few months old, then you may submit it. However, contest entries must be new.
Q: I tried to add your stamp to my journal but it isn't working, am I doing something wrong?
A: If you are not a subscriber, the stamp will not work. But you can still add out icon to your journal by typing :iconshutter-vision: or you can link us in your signature by typing :devshutter-vision:.

So what if someone sends the same deviation to many clubs. If that image is what one feels is their best then why not. As long as the image hasn't been repeatedly a winner of a contest I don't see the harm in resubmitting.
I feel sorry that I ever put up any work in my galleries due to this requirement that all work for contests and clubs must be new submissions. I should have just left my gallery blank and only submitted work for clubs or contests.
Sorry but I'm much too busy making a living to make new work for clubs and contests. If this was only a hobby for me then I might have the time but I came here to get feedback and exposure on existing work only.

I have corrected that to "is more than a few months..." excuse the typo, I'm not perfect, only doing my best. Some members send in photos for submission that are a few years old, if it's an image that they're proud of and want others to see then of course they're free to do so.
The point of sending the same deviation to many clubs is in reference to the imagine being less than 24 hours old. Of course they can send them to any and all clubs they like, that's the whole idea of clubs, to get ones work seen. Asking that the image has been on dA for at least one day is hardly a difficult task.
Being a new image for a contest is all spelled out in the Contest journal:
"Why? Because it's a way of trying something new. It makes us think and plan out a photo before randomly taking a few dozen shots, and slotting one into the nearest contest. When we get right down to it, we have to get off our backsides and shoot with a PURPOSE, getting your creativity flowing, and your braincells working."
I'm sorry you don't have the time to shoot something for our contests. There are many other clubs that accept older images for contests. There are also small 'games' we play here that result in members images being displayed for all to see - after all, that's what it's all about, getting ones work seen by others, is it not?
Thank you for your feedback, you have helped me with another idea for displaying member's work.
